Our laboratory is always interested in welcoming motivated and passionate individuals who are eager to contribute to research on the molecular mechanisms underlying rare genetic diseases and the development of innovative therapeutic strategies.
- PhD students: possibility of hosting students who present their own project or who wish to carry out part of their training abroad at our laboratory.
- Thesis students and undergraduates: we welcome students interested in developing their degree thesis on research topics covered by the group.

A postgraduate research fellowship funded by Telethon is now open for the project “Pharmacological stimulation of mitochondrial metabolism as a therapeutic approach in a mouse model of AHDS,” with a focus on molecular biology and experimental pharmacology.
The position is intended for graduates in Biology, Biotechnology, or related fields and involves supporting research activities, including animal model management and laboratory techniques (PCR, gel electrophoresis, Western blot). The fellowship lasts 6 months (June 15 – December 14, 2026).

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Researcher (pre-doctoral) to join our team at the University of Verona (Italy) for a 28-month fellowship starting on June 1, 2026.
We are looking for candidates with a background in Cell Biology and/or Molecular Biology. Previous experience with animal models and prior work on projects related to our research topics will be considered an advantage. We value curiosity, scientific enthusiasm, and a critical, problem-solving mindset, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong organizational and communication skills are also important.
