Annachiara Cabibbo earned her Master’s Degree cum laude in Biology Applied to Biomedical Research from the University of Milan, and more recently completed a Master’s program in Data Management for Clinical Research.
In 2023, she joined the laboratory of Dr. Bottani as a research fellow at the University of Verona, where she began her PhD in October 2025. Her research focuses on developing and applying preclinical models of rare genetic neurodevelopmental disorders, combining brain organoids with CRISPR/Cas9-based genome editing to investigate disease mechanisms and explore innovative therapeutic strategies. 

Her academic background includes extensive experience in neural development, iPSC-derived organoid models, and a wide range of molecular biology techniques. She also has strong expertise in data management for clinical research, with proficiency in platforms such as RedCAP and SAS, and in-depth knowledge of regulatory and quality standards, including GCP and GDPR compliance.
